Plow animals, also known as draft animals, are animals used for pulling plows and other farming equipment. Some synonyms for plow animals include beasts of burden, working animals, draft beasts, and draught animals. Usually, oxen, horses, and mules are used as plow animals in traditional farming. The term "beasts of burden" also includes animals used for transporting goods, such as camels and donkeys.
