Smoking compartments are a designated area where smoking is allowed. However, due to the increasing awareness and concern regarding the adverse health effects of smoking, smoking compartments are becoming scarce. As an alternative, smoking areas, smoking lounges, and smoking zones have become synonymous with smoking compartments. These designated areas are meant to provide smokers a safe and convenient place to smoke away from non-smokers. Although areas for smoking have come under much scrutiny, providing a designated area for smokers is beneficial in mitigating the health impact of smoking for non-smokers, while also recognizing smokers' rights to use the legal substance.
