Most of us think about borders when we think about the world. We think about the border between Texas and New Mexico, the border between India and Pakistan, the border between the United States and Mexico. But what about the border between neurons? The border between two minds? Is there a borderless world?

For centuries, we thought there wasn't a borderless world because we couldn't move from one side of the globe to the other. Ships couldn't sail beyond the Cape of Good Hope, and there wasn't a way to walk the entire way across. But thanks to technology, we now have a borderless world.
