The show tells the story of Deadwood, a town in the Dakota Territory in the early 1870s and its inhabitants. Deadwood was originally produced by M.A.P.S. Productions and aired on HBO from 2004 to 2006. An Emmy Award-winning series, Deadwood grossed $108 million in TV revenue over the course of its five seasons.
