Diabloceratops is a type of herbivorous dinosaur with a distinctive frill on its head which lived in what is now Utah, USA, during the Late Cretaceous period. Synonyms for diabloceratops include "devil horned face", which is derived from its Latin name, and "Ceratopsian", which is a larger group of dinosaurs of which diabloceratops was a member. Other synonyms include "Horned Dinosaur" and "Frilled Dinosaur". Despite being a relatively recently discovered species, diabloceratops has already become a well-studied dinosaur, offering much insight into the evolution and behavior of this fascinating group of creatures.
