How to use "Heavyheartedness" in context?
I'm tempted to say that heavyheartedness is simply too often mistaken for sadness. After all, why would someone be sad if they feel heavyhearted? Perhaps sadness is a more appropriate word to describe the emotion, but heavier than usual thoughts and feelings can definitely carry a weight.
When someone experiences heavyheartedness, it often feels like all of the air has been let out of their lungs. There's a sense of exhaustion and helplessness, as though the person is carrying the weight of the world on their shoulders. It can be incredibly burdensome, and feel like it will never end.
