How to use "Hero welcome" in context?
No one ever thanks their hero for saving them. But, on occasion, someone might actually do something nice for the person who made the ultimate sacrifice. When NBA player Paul George saved a woman from being kidnapped and raped, the woman returned the favor by surprising him with a hero welcome when he came home to Indiana.
George was visiting his family for the weekend when he heard about the woman's horrific story. He immediately went to the police station where the attack took place and helped them with their investigation.
When George finally returned to his home state of Indiana, the woman greeted him at the airport with a big hug and a flowers.
