Hunan province, located in central China, is known for its picturesque landscapes, rich culture, and delicious cuisine. Synonyms for this province include the "Land of Rice and Fish," "Land of Tea," and "Xiang" province, referring to the Xiang River which runs through it. Hunan is also often called the "Wild Goose Region" due to the abundance of wild geese that migrate to the area during the winter.
