In oblivion, the player is able to choose between three different races to play as: the human, the elf, and the dremora. There are four different classes to choose from: warrior, mage, thief, and priest. There are nine different skills to chose from, and the player can combine these skills to create their own unique combinations. Along with the skills, there is also the ability to equip weapons and armor. The game takes place in the province of Cyrodiil, and the player is able to explore different areas, complete quests, and fight against NPCs.
