Interceding, which means to mediate or intervene in a situation, has no real antonyms as it is a specific action rather than a general concept. However, there are some words that can be used to express the opposite or opposing actions to interceding. For example, ignoring, neglecting, avoiding, denying, or disregarding are words that are completely opposite of interceding. If somebody is interceding to resolve a dispute or conflict, then ignoring or neglecting the issue would be the opposite. Similarly, if somebody is interceding to help someone, then disregarding or avoiding that person would be the opposite. However, none of these words can be considered true antonyms because they lack a direct correlation with the meaning of interceding.
