How to use "Iris florentina" in context?
Iris Florentina a.k.a. "La Flor de Aguas Claras", is a botanical name given to a garden variety iris hybrid cultivated principally in central Mexico. The original Iris Florentina was collected in 1792 in the state of Aguascalientes. The iris' geographical origins notwithstanding, the attractive flowers, form and combination of colors set this iris apart from the rest. Iris Florentina blooms early in the season, from April to May, and has a single rose-blooming, medium sized, cream-colored ( mostly ) type flower.
