How to use "Over-sights" in context?
Over-sights are errors made in ouropic aiming, involving placement of the reticle beyond the intended target. The most common over-sight is when the shooter puts the reticle over the side of the target. This causes the front sight to line up over the target, instead of on the middle of it. Another common over-sight is when the shooter bows the rifle before taking a shot. This causes the rifle to come up too rapidly and the shooter's head will move the muzzle off the target.
