For many people, the idea of being "phoned in" from work can be both nerve-wracking and exciting. On one hand, it's a bit of a relief to not have to face the public or co-workers in person. On the other hand, it can be a bit daunting to have your work evaluated and critiqued by a line of people who may not understand your nuanced understanding of the subject matter. In reality, though, phoned in work is becoming more and more common, and there are a lot of positives to taking this approach.
