How to use "Press on" in context?
In October 2009, Dr. Randal pinkney and seven of his colleagues at the Wyss Institute for Biologically Inspired Engineering at Harvard University announced the development of a new kind of soft robot, dubbed press on. According to the team, Press on is the first soft robot with the ability to reform itself after being deformed. Press on is based on a core of doughnut-shaped silicone rubber discs that can be deformally expanded or compressed to create a variety of shapes and sizes. The silicone discs are inflated with a CO2 or air pressure source, causing them to stretch and expand.
