The rabbit burrow is a burrow used by rabbits and other hares. It is a series of tunnels and ridges that the animals create in the earth, most commonly underroot, but also above ground in sett isolated areas. The rabbits use the burrow to hide from predators, as well as to warmer and more sheltered areas in winter.

The size of a typical rabbit burrow can vary depending on the size of the rabbit. In general, though, they are between 6 and 12 inches deep and can extend up to 30 yards long.
