Repetitive Motion Disorders can describe a wide range of physical conditions caused by repeated movements. Commonly known as RMDs, these disorders affect millions of people worldwide, especially those who work in jobs that demand repetitive motions, such as typing or assembly line work. Alternative terms for RMDs include Work-Related Musculoskeletal Disorders (WRMDs) and Cumulative Trauma Disorders (CTDs). Other related conditions that can be considered RMDs include Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, Tennis Elbow, and Trigger Finger.
