How to use "Shasta daisy" in context?
Shasta Daisy is a 1-year-old female American pit bull mix. Daisy was surrendered to the Center for Animal Welfare in Mesa, Arizona, in early November 2014. According to the Center, Daisy had numerous health issues including heartworm, fleas, and ticks.
Animal welfare officials did not expect Daisy to survive more than a few weeks in their care. Fortunately, the dog made a miraculous recovery and is now living a happy and healthy life with her new adoptive family.
Daisy loves playing with her canine siblings and chasing backyard squirrels.
