Slatted refers to having or consisting of slats, narrow strips of material or wood that are either parallel or perpendicular to each other. There are various synonyms which can be used to replace the word slatted. These synonyms include louvered, blinds, shutters, jalousie, vented, perforated, grated, and meshed. Louvered is a term used to describe a structure with a series of slats arranged parallel to one another. Blinds are window coverings comprising of slats that can be tilted to control light and air.
