How to use "Unpleasing" in context?
I'm not one for words like "disappointing" or "frustrating" when it comes to my experiences, because I know that doesn't exactly paint the best picture. So when something falls short of my expectations, I usually just chalk it up to "unpleasing." That being said, there are certain things that I just can't stand.
More often than not, these unpleasant experiences come as a surprise. For instance, last week I went out with some friends to dinner. I had made reservations at a really nice restaurant, but when I got there they had completely forgotten my name. I was so disappointed!
