Zinzendorf, or Johann JacobZinzendorf, was a German religious leader and philosopher who helped found the Moravian Church in the early eighteenth century. He is best known for his theory of the vocation, which stresses the importance of divine purpose in one's life, and his philosophy of the harmony of the spheres. Zinzendorf also wrote a number of books, including a commentary on the Book of Psalms. He died in 1760.
