Allied Command Europe (ACE) is a military organization that is responsible for coordinating and administering the operations of NATO. It is composed of multiple countries and its leadership is generally under the command of a Supreme Allied Commander. There are a few synonyms for the term ACE, including NATO Command Europe, Joint Force Command Europe, and Allied Land Command. Additionally, ACE may also be referred to as SHAPE (Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe), the name of its headquarters in Belgium.
