How to use "Dis heartened" in context?
Disheartened. Those three syllables cut through the thick fabric of my oppressive fog like a pair of rusty blades. Disheartened doesn't even begin to cover what I was feeling those few minutes ago. It was a mixture of anger, confusion, and hurt. I was angry at myself for not being able to understand what was happening, more so angry at the boy who had drawn my attention, more angry still at the universe that couldn't seem to give me any answers. I was confused because I didn't know why it was happening, and hurt because I didn't know how to fix it.
