Gastric Outlet Obstruction (GOO) is a medical condition where something blocks the outflow of stomach contents into the small intestine. Some synonyms for GOO include Pyloric Obstruction, Pylorostenosis, Duodenal Obstruction and Duodenal Stenosis. Pyloric and Duodenal Obstruction are more specific terms than just GOO, as they refer to the site of the obstruction in the digestive tract. However, all of these terms are used to describe a similar condition that causes symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, bloating, and abdominal pain.
