The term "New Age traveller" has been applied to a diverse group of people who reject traditional societal structures and instead embrace a nomadic lifestyle. While this term has been used to describe this community for several decades, there are a number of alternative synonyms that can also be used to describe them. Some of these synonyms include "free spirits," "nomads," "wanderers," "bohemians," "counterculturalists," and "hippies." Regardless of which term is used, the New Age traveller community continues to be a unique group that challenges societal norms and promotes alternative ways of living.
