In order to combat this menace, it is important to be aware of its many synonyms. These include terms such as cybercrime, cyberwarfare, electronic terrorism, internet terrorism, and online terrorism. Other synonyms that are commonly used include digital terrorism, information warfare, virtual terrorism, cyber sabotage and hacking terrorism.
