Canadian Red Ensign was the flag flown by Canada from 1868 until 1965. Some synonyms for it could be Canadian flag, the Red Ensign, or the Dominion flag. The Canadian Red Ensign was characterized for its red, white and green background with the British Union Jack flag in the corner and the coat of arms of Canada in the middle.
