How to use "Swbw" in context?
Swbw is the acronym for Systemwide Bimodal Window Filter, a filter in the Frequency Response of Audio Systems. When an audio signal is passed through a band-pass filter with a center frequency on one side of the band and a resonance frequency on the opposite side, any signal that falls outside of these frequencies will be attenuated. This is in direct contrast to a butterworth filter, which passes all frequencies equally.
One of the most popular uses for a SWBW is in audio equalizer plugins, typically used to enhance bass or highs.
