How to use "Teddy" in context?
The teddy bear is one of the most recognizable icons in the world. Decorated with a wide array of different clothes and accessories, these plush toys have become the de facto symbol of comfort and love. Origins of the teddy bear are unknown, but the first teddies were made in the early 1900s in Germany. As the name suggests, these toys were originally designed as a bear for children that was plush, cuddly and durable. In 1924, a businessman in the US called Richard Steiff created the first teddy bear factory and began mass producing teddy bears.
