How to use "Out-of-doors" in context?
When I was a kid, my parents would drag my brother and I out for walks on the pastures near our house. It was a great way to get exercise and get some fresh air. Now that I am a grownup, I still enjoy spending time outdoors. There's something about the sound of blades of grass brushing against my foot that just relaxes me.
Some of my favorite pastimes outdoors are hiking and camping. I especially love hiking in mountains and by lakes. I have even made some great friends while camping, including a family of bears that I used to call my friends at the park.
