How to use "Nonesuch" in context?
Nonesuch Records is an American record label founded in 1949 by brothers Ahmet and Ordu (Oz) Ertegun. The label is best known for its classical releases, though it has also distributed jazz, blues, and rock recordings. Nonesuch was formed from the remnants of the Orpheum Records classical label. In 1955, the label began distributing postwar rock and roll.
During the 1960s, Nonesuch distributed recordings by new psychedelic rock artists. In the late 1960s and early 1970s, the label developed a contemporary classical music program.
