How to use "Use up" in context?
I plead the fifth. When it comes to talking about using up, I really don't have much to say. Truthfully, I use it all the time, but I don't really know what it means. If used correctly, though, I think it can be a powerful word.
In theory, using up means using all of something. For instance, if you have ten apples and you eat six, then you have used up six apples. If you have ten apples and you give two away, then you have used up four apples.
