How to use "Duke" in context?
What is a duke?
A Duke is a title and rank in the British and Irish systems of nobility. The title is now principally used in the United Kingdom for the eldest son of the monarch, the Prince of Wales. The title is granted by the monarch on the recommendation of the prime minister. Dukes have been created in England and Scotland, but the title does not exist in Ireland. The only Irish duke was the first Duke of Leinster who served as a military general and ambassador to France.
