How to use "Send off" in context?
I thought I'd share with you all an experience I had that touched me in a deep way. I was at a restaurant with some friends, and we were all sending off one of our friends who was moving away. We all got up to say goodbye, and to our surprise, the restaurant staff brought out a cake and presented it to her. It was such a touching gesture, and it really showed how much the restaurant staff cared about her. It was a really special send off that I will never forget.
