When something unthinkable happens, it takes a lot for the mind to begin to understand what's happening. For six hours on May 12, 2014, the entire world watched in horror as a Capsized cruise liner slowly filled with water, becoming a death trap for its more than 1100 passengers and crew.
For several minutes, the crew of the merchant ship pleaded for help, but it was too late. Rescue crews were only able to save about 60 people before the boat was filled with water and sunk. T he horrific scene has been called one of the worst maritime disasters in history.
